Itinerary
Delhi Arrival & Delhi Sightseeing
The Golden Triangle Tour with wildlife will begin with your arrival in Delhi, the capital of India. On arrival at Delhi airport or station, the driver/representative of NIBT Holidays will warmly welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and spend the rest of the day at the hotel. Or if you reach Delhi early in the morning or before noon then today you can visit some places in Delhi. Dinner and overnight stay in Delhi hotel.
Day sightseeing of Delhi (8 Hours / 80 Km Limit)
On the second day of the Golden Triangle wildlife tour, after having breakfast at the hotel, go on a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. Delhi is famous for many historical and heritage monuments which is also the capital of India. Throughout the day, explore the tourist places of Delhi – Birla Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Humayun Tomb, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat etc. And in the evening do not forget to visit AksharDham Temple, which is built with modern and ancient handicrafts. Come back to the hotel in the evening, have dinner and enjoy overnight stay in Delhi.
Note: Most of the tourist places in Delhi are closed on Mondays.
Journey from Delhi to Agra (240 kms / 4-5 hrs)
Have breakfast in Delhi on the third day of Golden Triangle wildlife tour and later leave Delhi and proceed to Taj City Agra. On the way stop at Mathura, the birthplace of Shri Krishna Bhagwan and after visiting the temple continue the drive towards Agra. After reaching Agra, complete the hotel check-in formalities and leave for Agra sightseeing. The most spectacular attraction you will visit will be the Taj Mahal. It was built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz. Another attraction you can visit would be the Agra Fort, a red sandstone fort built by Emperor Akbar. After sightseeing in Agra, dinner and accommodation in Agra hotel.
Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.
Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Ranthambore (300 Km, Approx 5-6 Hours)
Today is the fourth day of the Golden Triangle wildlife tour. After having fresh breakfast in Agra, pack your bags and get on the road for a drive to Ranthambore. On the way, halt for a visit to Fatehpur Sikri which was settled by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1571. The Buland Darwaja here is the largest gateway in the world. After taking in the sights of the bygone era, proceed to Ranthambore. The popular national parks in India are among the best in the country with a healthy population of Royal Bengal Tigers.The wilderness is also home to the 11th century Ranthambore Fort, listed among Hill Forts of Rajasthan that have the status of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Upon reaching, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Wildlife safari in Ranthambore National Park
Today is going to be an adventurous day for the Golden Triangle Wildlife Tour. Start the day with an early morning wildlife safari in Ranthambore National Park. See majestic tigers or other wildlife living in the land. After the expedition, come back to the hotel for a sumptuous breakfast served at the hotel. Apart from this, you can go ahead with an afternoon safari in the jungle or spend the day with the leisure facilities available at the hotel/resort. Dinner and overnight stay at Ranthambore.
Ranthambore – Jaipur (Approx 190 km )
Wake up after a sound sleep, take a shower and enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast. Afterwards, proceed with the transfer to Jaipur. The ‘Pink City’ of Rajasthan is the capital of the royal state and is home to forts, palaces, royal architecture, mouth-watering cuisine, interesting things to do and many cherished experiences. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel room. The day is at your own leisure but you can choose to spend it exploring the colorful markets, enjoying the culture, tasting some gastronomical treats, etc. Chokhi Dhani is a popular village themed setting where you can enjoy a glimpse of Rajasthani culture.Come back to the hotel in the evening, have dinner and enjoy overnight stay in Jaipur.
Sightseeing Tour of Jaipur
On Day 5 of the Golden Triangle Tour, you will spend a day exploring this historic pink city of Rajasthan. After breakfast at the hotel, visit the major tourist attraction sites Amber Fort, a red sandstone and marble architecture perched on a hill. Jal Mahal, a 4-storey Jal Mahal situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Hawa Mahal, the palace of the winds made of pink sandstone, specially built for the royal Rajput women. The city is known for palaces, museums, courtyards, temples, gardens, etc. Come back to the hotel in the evening. Dinner and accommodation in Jaipur.
Departure Day of the Golden Triangle Tour
Today is the last and departure day of the Golden Triangle Tour. After breakfast check out from the hotel and reach Delhi airport/railway station on time where your tour ends. Fly towards your next destination and home with the beautiful memories of the Golden Triangle Tour.
